To compete with TikTok and Vigo, Google has launched an app called Tangi which is a short-form video making app. The Tangi app has been developed by Google’s in-house incubator Area 120 team. This is experimental social video sharing app, through which you can share videos to learn new things with people by creating a quick DIY video app. This app really will be a tough competitor for TIKTOK and VIGO app.
What does Tangi mean?
Google has called Tangi, Teach and Give or Tangible. It will not only for entertainment purpose, but there will be education tutorials also. Currently, Tangi app is available on Android device as well as in iOS device. But, Tangi is still in developing phase. This app is available in all areas of the world except the European Union. Even before Tangi, the Byte app has been launched in comparison to TitTok. This app has been prepared by the co-founder of the popular Vine platform. However, the Byte app is not launched in India at the moment.
Like TikTok/Vigo app, users can create 60-second videos on this app as well. While Tiktok uses the app for entertainment but through this app you can use it for educational purpose also. This app has many categories like DIY, cooking, lifestyle, art, fashion and beauty for videos.
How it can be used?
By visiting Tangi’s website, users can get its complete interface. When the website is opened, different categories are given in the tab above, which you can select. There is also a 60-second tutorial video. You can also prepare your video by watching these videos in the site as well as in mobile app. You will also be able to upload it. Tangi’s interface is largely similar to Pintrest and Instagram. A search bar has been given in it, in which you can search about a particular topic. In Tangy, you will get videos of up to 60 seconds. There will also be a choice of comment with the video.
